Why can't apps follow their own settings ...I don't want vibrate ..at all..

It's not checked off that I can find in twitter, yet it still vibrates

Words with Friends ....vibrates....

How can I make it all stop....

8.1 final developers build....

If you go to settings... Sounds and vibrations and kill it all from there...
In particular, tap on the vibration intensity and wind back the levels there too!
Not sure if this is still there in Oreo...

The apps should also have options in notifications within the apps. Again, not sure with Oreo...
You could also have a bug..

I had the same problem, I had turned off all vibration under the vibration section in sound settings and yet was still having the same problem, it drove me crazy but I eventually found the solution

If you go to the settings home screen and use the search bar to search vibration it shows Touch Vibration - Accessibility > Vibration, click on that and here you can turn off Touch Vibration completely.

That fixed it for me, I hope that helps!
