I'll fight over sea to Asia for month. Is possible to ask Virgin Mobile hold my amount and phone # for month without pay till I back from town? Are there a policy exit in Virgin Mobile website?

Dunno, probably the best thing to do is to call customer service and ask. Try calling more than once though throughout the day so you'll get someone else. I had to call three times to get my phone activated and get my phone #.

yea, that's what prepaid is about.
BUT,
You'll likely lose your cheaper plan (if you have one). Check out the new prices. I'm paying $25 but new customers would have to pay $35 for the same plan. Actually, we have true unlimited and they get slowed down after a certain amount of data usage.
So, if you have a new plan it's no problem. Search the Virgin website, because the live customer service is hit and miss.

All plans are throttled starting in October.

Like others have said call virgins customer service.

Why not just pay your bill for that month earlier? Then you won't loose your number.

Actually those of us on the $25/month plan get 5gb of data before throttling starts. New customers get 2.5gb before throttling i believe.

Anyhow i dont think there would be any problems if you didn't pay for a month (especially considering that's part of the point of prepaid plans). As far as i know carriers give away your number after 3 months of inactivity. You should call VM anyways. Policies are always changin.

Proof? I very highly doubt that. The only thing I have read is that ALL plans get throttled starting in October.

Actually, ill leave the same day as my plan due. when i get back is about 2 two before next due day. Will call CS and find out.

If you didn't get an answer, I suggest going to their Facebook page. They always seem to provide faster support there then on the phone (and I actually asked this very same question).

They told me that us old folks still on the $25 plans can let our account go for 90 days past due before our account gets deactivated and we have to start paying the $35 plan. So basically, 3 months without paying = new customer.

I asked this because I was going to be late on a payment by a couple days and didn't want to lose my $25 plan ($25 for android, unlimited data and unlimited texts? HELLS TO THE YES!)

A lot of phone carriers will "give" you a free month or reduce your monthly plan if you are military and can provide orders for temporary deployment. Not sure if this is the case for the OP but its something to consider for many people. Call customer support tell them the situation and 99% of the time they will transfer you to a supervisor who will ask you fax/email a copy of your orders to them. Then per company policy they will credit you whatever they do. Its even possible to get a credit on previous service if you are persistent enough.
