Stopping the dial responsive vibration

Has anyone been able to stop the dial pad from vibrating when you dial numbers? If so, how? just as we can stop vibration for the qwerty keyboard as well as for touch. I have a customer that came in today stating that he was able to turn it off prior to the last firmware update and now he can't thou his girlfriend who has the same Sprint HTC Hero as him can turn off the responsive vibration from her phone even after the last firmware update.

btw I have look on my phone and have google it with no results

no way to shut it off it was added with the mr update .....very poor decision on sprints part

I figure that there was no way to turn it off since the last firmware update, yet I needed to ask, since I don't recall been able to to turn it off at all. I agree it is a very poor decision to remove this feature if it was available before, now I ask... why remove it?
