I'm running Plasma X now, and Samsung is pushing an OTA update.

Easiest way to keep that from happening is?

Thanks!

Try to freeze/rename:
SDM.apk
FWupgrade.apk
Keychain.apk

This is how I stopped it on the Galaxy note 2, it should be similar

What file manager did you use? I tried ES File Explorer and it won't let me rename and doesn't seem to provide a freeze option.

To freeze I use titanium backup. But I think there are other app freezing apps in the market.

I use root explorer as a file manager.

I think in es explorer you need to go into settings and find the root settings and set it as read/write
