storage not calculating

When I look under storage in settings the usage under each file type dies not calculate. Stuck on calculating.

What phone? What version of Android? Stock, rooted or custom ROM?

Sorry Samsung tab 2 10.1
Stock jb 4.1.2
Toatal calcs. Available calcs. Rest shows calculating.

If it worked before and does not now you may need to do a reset, but you could first try force closing any unnecessary running apps and then see if that helped.

Sorry I goofed . posted it was corrected, I was wrong, I was looking at my galaxy s3. The tab still not calculating storage under settings.
