Storage problem

I have an s3 mini with an internal storage of 3Gb free but when i try downloading something it says low storage space. I tried moving them to the external sd but they it says the same low storage space

Welcome to the forums!!
I would start by doing a general phone cleaning. Delete apps that you aren't using, clean up texts, etc. and restart the device. See if that helps.

Its a new phone just a few apps have been installed. And there no emails or text on it

I will admit, I am confused. You should have enough space to download some apps. Let me think on his a little. I will try to remember to get back to you later.

This might not be so much fun, but try a factory reset. Then, try downloading what you need.
