Storage space is showing wrong storage space

[AC Question]

My internal storage space was showing about half full and and sd card showed correct amount of storage. I have many apps moved to sd card and media too. Now suddenly it is saying my internal storage is full and incorrect amount of space available on sd card. I checked my apps and they show they are stored on sd card. How do I fix it so it shows the correct amount of storage on both my internal memory and sd card memory?

First you need to verify that what is being shown is wrong.
Using a file browser, explore your internal storage and SD card to see where the space is getting used.

I use ES File Explorer, and it shows the correct information on the internal memory and the sd card.
