Got my captivate about three hours ago if your in the KC area the att store on mill street is selling them early.

You are one of the lucky few. I called 6 local stores and not a single one is selling them in my area. Heading to the store at 11 tomorrow morning.

I actually got mine yesterday right before they closed. The rep told me that they had sold one to a person earlier in the day. So far I'm very impressed with the build quality of the phone; just a really well thought-out device. The screen size also makes it very easy to type (I prefer the stock android keyboard).

I am having one problem though: I cannot get it to connect to my mac via USB in order to add music. When I plug it in, it either freaks out and starts bouncing between the charging screen and the lock screen, or it just simply wont' register on my mac. I've tried in every USB mode in the Android settings as well.

I picked mine up this afternoon. Very happy with it so far - impressed with the "feel" of it, and will report back with thoughts about battery life, etc...

Scottsdale, AZ no go either; wouldn't even show it to me. They did confirm they had them locked up in the Managers office. Earlier in the day went to t-mobile to play with theirs just to get a feel for the phone.

Just picked up one for my wife. She returned her iPhone 4 Tuesday and is loving it so far. Just have a little problems getting the drivers to install on her PC. If anyone has info on it I have a thread posted already and would appreciate any help. This is our first Android phone so I'm flying blind just a bit.

Welp tried installing the xm radio app and.... No side loading so thats a kick in the teeth but still a realy nice phone so far.

First Android phone I've ever touched. AT&T store not far from my house sold one to me on Thursday. I paid non-contract $349. Sold iphone 4 for $800 on ebay. I made out way ahead. Love the phone, can't wait to play more with it.

Wish I could of done the 350 told me 500 so had to use contract upgrade
