Stories in samsung galaxy s8 gallery

[Android Central Question]

I have a Samsung galaxy s8 but there are only 2 stories in the gallery which are from 2018. I have taken many photos on my phone since then but none of them have been put into the "stories"
The settings are set to on for "Auto create stories" but no new stories
Can anyone please help me to get these stories back on track

If you're looking at albums, "stories" is a folder named stories. Find the content wherever it is, copy it, paste it to stories, check it and, if it copied okay, delete the originals. (Don't use Move - if blows in the middle, you lose both the original and the copy.)
