hi! while traveling my LGV10 informed me that i was running out of memory. i figured out how to move my photos from the phone memory to the sd card but now i have issues...

1. the app i've been using PIKTURES won't let me delete a file...i have to exit and use GALLERY to delete. is that because PIKTURES can not access the sd card?

2. now i have two galleries named CAMERA. one has an sd card icon on it. i believe i have sd card as my new default storage option for pictures taken with the camera but am not entirely certain. is there a way to combine them into one? should i be using FILE MANAGER?

3. lastly are DNG files the raw images? at 19mb each i'm wondering why i'm shooting such large files. in real life i'm a film photographer so i apologize for my ignorance about this subject...

that being said i LOVE the manual camera options and have shot some amazing photos with this phone.

thank you for your help!

You're probably correct here.

You should be able to check your Camera app's settings to see what the default storage location is set to. My guess is that your Piktures gallery app will show different directories as different albums. If the app itself doesn't have the ability to combine the directories into one album (but still keep the actual file locations separate), then you'd have to find some other gallery app that can. Google Photos will essentially display all photos from all locations in the main photo screen, so that's an option. Or you could move all photos from the /DCIM/Camera directory on Internal Storage over to the /DCIM/Camera directory on the SD card, and use the SD card as default storage for the Camera app from now on.
