Straight Talk MMS won't send!

I found that generally I have to disconnect/deactivate WiFi for MMS pictures to come in. Using ChompSMS.
If I'm connected to WiFi, I get a notification tone that an incoming text/MMS arrived, but then it will tell me it couldn't download it.
Nexus 5 running 4.4.2 stock, same behavior on StraightTalk/AT&T and now AIO Wireless/AT&T

Yeah really.Mine still isnt working.I havent had time to call ST.My phone says inactive under my account on the ST website.

I'm having similar problems. I have the same phone and everything and I can't send or receive MMS. If anyone finds a fix please update here!!

Rooted ...S-OFF... running Viper One rom fixed it for me. I didn't wanna root my phone but I actually am glad I did. It's nice to get rid of all that AT&T bloat that I didn't use.

I had a similar problem with galaxy ace, I ended up using ST app in play store, it auto configured my phone...no more probs.

i was having the same problem with sending and receiving pictures on my unlocked samsung galaxy s4 mini using ATT sim card from straight talk and the following APN settings worked:
APN settings


Name: straight talk
APN: tfdata
Proxy: not set
Port: 8080
Username: not set
Password: not set
Server: not set
MMSC http://mms-tf.net
Multimedia message proxy: mms3.tracfone.com
Multimedia message port: 80
MCC: 310
MNC: 410
Authentication type: not set
APN type: default,mms,supl

also right after i updated to those settings i turned developer mode "on" but did not change any developer settings. i'm not sure if that had anything to do with it but all i know is i can now send and receive pictures now.

I just got a Galaxy S 3 and am using the AT&T sim card through straight talk. I can get on the internet and send MMS messages fine, but I cant download the ones sent to me. I have all of my APN settings correct from what Straight Talk provided. Can anyone help me with this?!

Thank you for your settings information, Micah Nalley. They completely fixed my problem and now my MMS and internet are working just fine.

It appears that the setting that fixes it is probably the:
APN type: default,mms,supl

I've seen several sites that have supl before mms and that was the cause of the problem in the one I just looked at.

I have a GS4, SM-S975L model, and I cannot receive MMS messages. I have tried the APN settings listed in this thread as well as other variations to no avail. Does anyone have a fix for this?

Make sure under APN Type: its default,MMS, supl.

Besides the inability to send pictures through MMS are you having issues with your navigation or the network knowing where you are to tag the pictures? Sending and receiving pictures are a big issue but I just noticed that GPS can't tell where I am with my phone either. Hope there is a solution.

Finally settings that work!

I had to find this on my own.. but here it is for others:

HOW TO ENABLE DEV SETTINGS
Enabling developer settings on Android 4.2? Oh, they're still on the phone. Google hasn't taken the "developer" out of Android, and it's not going to anytime soon. But the settings have been hidden from casual view in the settings menu. Here's how to get them back:

1. Go to the settings menu, and scroll down to "About phone." Tap it.
2. Scroll down to the bottom again, where you see "Build number." (Your build number may vary from ours here.)
3. Tap it seven (7) times. After the third tap, you'll see a playful dialog that says you're four taps away from being a developer. (If only it were that simple, eh?) Keep on tapping, and *poof*, you've got the developer settings back.

So why would Google hide the developer settings? It's just a change in Android 4.2. There's not a whole lot of danger here. But ever since the dev settings were consolidated into a single menu in Android 4.0, it's seemed odd that they remained in plain sight on consumer-friendly phones. Does your mom need dev settings? Nah. So, Google's hidden them in Android 4.2.

i had this same issue would not send pics kept saying network unavailable i down loaded the my settings app from straight talk on google play it tells you delete all previous apns and go step by step phone is working 100000000 percent do it trust me

This suddenly doesn't work for me either. Anyone get a fix? Tried the straight talk APN rooms app. Started over and still doesn't work
