Strange Battery Usage Stats Lollipop

Is anyone else getting this sort of thing in the stock Battery Usage stats? YouTube I can account for, Gmail I haven't used today, and Screen makes no sense. The GSam Battery Monitor app that I also use, gives sensible readings for battery usage. A Lollipop bug?

Yep, I'm seeing that, too. With my battery down to 90%, I had about 6 apps/services in my Battery stats, all reading 1-2% of total usage. Makes no sense--it should total 100%, because it's supposed to account for 100% of the battery used so far. Unless they suddenly changed it to reporting absolute battery percentage use. But that would still mean it should have added up to 10% in my case, and it didn't--only 6%.

I called Google support (855-836-387, and they answered within about 10 seconds!) and let them know about the bug. No idea if they will officially tally it, but the more people send feedback to them, the more they'll pay attention to it.

I am very unhappy with everything they did to the battery usage stats. Having a % of total battery usage per process, instead of a % of what was USED of the battery makes all the numbers very small and hard to compare. And where it used to be useful, now it is just a bunch small %'s that never add up to the amount of battery consumed.

Looks like others are discussing this at XDA as well: [Battery Drain] [Lollipop] [LRX21O] - UPDATE… - Pg. 29 | Google Nexus 5 | XDA Forums. They also suspect the stats have changed to absolute percentages. Mine currently add up to 17%, but I'm at 80% battery. So I assume the balance of 3% was used by apps and services that were responsible for so little battery usage each that they weren't reported.

^^^Yes, I tried adding them and like you ended up a few percent short. But however you look at it, an SOT of 2.5h ought to use a tad more than 4% of battery, whether it's 4% of charge used, or 4% of all the charge in the battery.
I'll send feedback to Google.
I ought to have said in my first post that I've done the Cache Partition wiping, and clearing of app Cached Data, and one or two other such things, with no effect.

A G3 user noticed something similar recently, so it's apparently not limited to the N5:

Oh, I *know* they changed the stats to be absolute percentages of the total battery, not of what was used. That is a major step backwards IMHO. AND they gave us no way to switch back to the old behavior. But on TOP of that, the stats are not accurate and never add up to 100% now. Not even close.

So it used to be:

"Wow, my battery is down to 90% already. Let's look at the stats. I see- 50% of that is the screen and 40% of it is this strange app I installed yesterday and the remaining 10% is the usual stuff".

And now it is:

"Wow, my battery is down to 90% already. Let's look at the stats. ???? 3% is the screen, and then there are load of 2% or 1% stuff that doesn't add up and I can't really tell what used the battery any more when comparing one process to another."

Another oddity....and perhaps this is only on my device....is that when I open the battery usage graph, the bar showing wifi signal always indicates that it's On. No matter what I do in Settings....even if wifi is completely Off, it shows as On here. That was certainly not the case with KitKat.
It doesn't show much here because I've only unplugged recently:

I don't normally allow the battery to discharge to 15% like this but I thought I'd see how much screen-on time I'd get. Tried disabling Fit to improve battery as others recommend, but it doesn't stay disabled. Have disabled a network app allowing calls/texts when mobile signal is down, which I think was keeping wifi on all the time. Anyway...low brightness settings, texting, YouTube, web searches, odds and ends. Stock battery stats and GSam Battery Monitor stats for the same period:

4.5 hours of screen on time is pretty good. Weird that Fit re-enables. Is that only after a reboot, or even when you've been using the phone normally?

I had that happen with KitKat. Wifi would definitely be OFF (after I turned it off) but in battery stats it was still showing as ON. After a reboot it correctly starting showing as OFF.

I'd noticed that it does indeed re-enable after rebooting but in this instance, to the very best of my ability to remember, I had not rebooted. But I'll try again to make sure. (GSam recorded battery use of 0.0% by Fit, however, so for me Fit is probably not a problem.)
I'm not sure whether that sort of SOT is all we can reasonably expect from a Nexus 5 running L but for me it's an improvement over recent days.
However this morning I found the battery had dropped from full to 91% overnight which is more than I'd expect so further adjustments will have to be made.

Edit 11hr later: I Force Stopped the Fit app, and it had started again without rebooting when I checked later. Did it a second time, still off this time.

Rebooting had no effect in my case. Nor did all the other things I tried....the normal range of remedies. I've forgotten now what made me try disabling the wifi-calling app, but it certainly seems to have been the cause. I'm glad it's fixed because I don't want my N5's wifi radio WEARING OUT.

No, I had that checked because I'm happy to allow that. As things are now, when I use wifi, and then switch off, it remains on, as shown at the bottom of the battery usage graph. I have to reboot the phone to switch it off. But thx.

My screen usage is above 100%
125% to be exact but it keeps going higher. My phone is 5.1
