Strange email problem

I'm having a problem with my comcast email. Some of my new emails are coming in the bottom of my mail list with the date of 12/31/1969 and others are coming in fine at the top with the right date/time. Anyone ever see this or heard of this before? Its really bugging me. I'm all ears. Thanks!

Are you using the stock email client? You might want to try something like K-9 Mail or MailDroid or any of the other email clients available in the Market. I like the simplicity of the stock client, but it has issues sometimes. One of my accounts stopped syncing until I rebooted. Another time I noticed that it was showing two copies of every new email with both accounts. A reboot fixed that too. I've been using K-9 Mail with the account that had stopped syncing alongside the stock email client just to see how their syncing compares. I finally added my other account to K-9 and turned off syncing in the stock client about an hour ago. We'll see how it goes.

Thanks, in doing a search I see someone else (SouthernSaltine on 9/22/2010) had the exact same problem with the 12/31/1969, they even contacted Verizon and Motorola. Looks like there was never a solution to the problem. Someone mentioned K9 but the OP didn't like that format. So it looks like u just live with it or get K9.

Just so you know, I have had this happen with my comcast e-mail account in thunderbird on my computer, so it's not just an android thing. Try talking to comcast about it.
