Strange Empty space in app folder...

Apparently I have deleted an app or something and the folder where the app was, still has a space for the app but there's nothing there. I try to grab the empty space to maybe delete it, but again nothing is there. If I attempt to put another app icon where the empty space is, the app icons simply move over to allow room but still show the empty space..

Has anyone had this issue? What causes it? How do I fix it?

Have you tried shutting off, pull battery, replace battery, turn back on yet?

I had the same problem but i figured it out. when you tap the icon to see all your current apps there should be a bar on top to search for a specific app. From there look at the right side of the bar and you should see 3 little dots, tap it. It will give you the option as to how you want to organize your apps. When you click the 3 dots, click edit and you should be able to move the apps around and cover the empty spaces. Hope its helps
