I have the Exynos variant. My phone is 2 weeks old. In first week everything was fine. But now my phone heats up so quickliy (in upper right side) when i am on wifi. Also i notice that the phone heats quicker on other activities.
I controlled the temperature with CPU-Z
When its heating its around 50°Celcius. It seems me annoying. How can i do for resolve it or it is normal?

Welcome to Android Central! When you're not on wi-fi, are you always on mobile data? And it never heats up like that on mobile data?

When it heats up like that, look at your battery stats--does any app seem to be using an inordinate amount of battery?

Yes i checked the battery stats , all seems.ok. I think that its a motherboard issue. It started to overheating when charging too.

Same for me when I am on WiFi, gets super hot and oyster sometimes when I charge. The heat does go quite quickly though. My battery stats showed that my WiFi used 72% of my battery. (Normally the screen)

Another of my problem is the battery life. I lose one percent of battery every 4 minutes while im browsing on wifi. In tests same device shows 10h of wifi browsing but when it compared to the mine (4×100=400 minutes=6~7 hours) mine seems pretty low

How's your cell signal? And if you have an SD card inserted, try unmounting it, in case there's a corrupt file on it somewhere.

Wow. You should get a replacement that doesnt sound right. I get 7 hours SOT and over 9 minutes per percent. My S7 does not go past 100 most of the time

SOT means Screen On Time (i.e., the total amount of time the screen has been on during the current battery charge).
