Strange issue with fingerprint scanner

I noticed that even the fingerprints I didn't register work...hmmm

I figured it out...so only when it's banking or something like that does your fingerprints matter. Otherwise it doesn't. Very clever.

I gave this a try after reading this. I can turn off/lock the screen with any finger, including one's that have not been configured for recognition. But I can only open/unlock the screen with recognized fingers.

This is how it has always worked for me as well. Noticed this from day one...

Also do you have your house and/or work set up as a safe place? I know that if you have that set up you can use any finger to open your phone

I noticed that you can only register five fingerprints, and I'll be damned if I don't regularly try to use a sixth finger before realizing it won't read that one... First world problems.
