Strange Message

I hit system update today, and got this message. Anyone know what this means? I haven't done anything to my phone, to my knowledge.

You have installed Package Disabler Pro. Simply go into the app and save your settings. Then reenable everything. Do yer update, then reboot, and restore the xml file you backed up.

Thanks everyone. I have the T Mobile version. I'll disable the Package disabler. That may be it.

Did you root at all?

No root. Stick to stock Android as much as possible. Without a Nexus.

So just curious. After you enabled everything and rebooted, did your update go through? Just curious, cuz i do know that disabling a bunch of stuff causes this error. Happened to me as well.

I'm curious also -- while we're waiting for his reply, may I ask a question? I myself "disabled" about half a dozen Apps that came with the tablet. Could this cause various problems my tablet is having? (I get occasional sudden bursts of horizontal lines that fill the screen, and continue until I lightly slap the back of the tablet. Among other problems, when I enter a new Web page it keeps "refreshing" itself over and over and over! It's maddening, I tell you. Can my disabling of those Apps cause problems like I've described?)

I've tried everything short of a Factory Reset to clear it up. Even had an Asus Tech guy run it thru some rebooting type process of theirs - - nothing helped. But I didn't remember I'd disabled those Apps until I read your posts.

Once I disabled Pro Package Disabler, the phone allowed me to attempt the update. Their was no update to be had, but before it wouldn't even allow me to attempt the update. I must have disabled something that effected the ability to perform the update.
