Strange Microphone Plug Icon on Notification Panel

[AC Question]

I hope someone can help me figure this out. On my phone where my battery life and network connection there is a weird microphone plug thing. It wont go away and I can't figure out what it means. Can anyone help me?

Does it look like a mic or a plug? Or maybe a headset with a mic?
