Strange Popup

While checking my comcast email got a popup that said "server changed password enter new
password". This seemed bogus so I just clicked cancel and sent a test email from my wife's tablet
and it came through with no problem.

If it happens again will get a screenshot,

How were you checking the email? Using the stock Email app, the Xfinity Connect app, or on a browser?
 
Is the app working normally now? I've seen this occur a couple of times on my wife's M8, and it just corrects itself immediately. Might just be a server glitch.
 
Right after it happened it would work fine and still does.

This just wasn't the normal "failed to sign in" notice is what made me wonder.
