List of apps that seem to work in flex mode.
Streaming Tv and others.
You tube
Peacock
For me it does checking it for forced flex mode setting also I had phone in Flex mode before load app.

I can't get flex mode to work at all. When I partially close it, like it shows to do on the videos, nothing happens. And, I used Gallery and Camera to test it as they are both noted as working in flex mode. Not a deal breaker for me, but disappointing in a $1k phone. Seems like I might have a lemon!

Try this:

Settings > Advanced Features > Labs > Flex mode panel. You can then select which apps you want to try to force into Flex mode. Some apps are already supposed to work in flex mode, though, as you indicated. These do include Camera and Gallery, so the Labs > Flex mode list will not have on ON/OFF toggle for those pre-designated apps.

Hope this helps'

Cheers.

Thanks Seeker. I tried Flex Mode again with the Camera, Calendar, and Gallery apps. It works fine with Camera and Calendar but still does nothing with Gallery. I'll wait until the next time the Gallery app receives and update to see if that fixes any bug that I might have. That said, I use Gallery a lot - I have over 600 pictures just of my dog and I also download lots of pictures from the internet and file them in Albums that I set up, so I am not sure that the Flex feature would be a plus for me anyhow on that app! At any rate, at least I know that Flex does work on my phone and that it is not broken!!

I tried my Gallery app. It does not appear to be into flex mode at first, but if you go to Albums, then select one of your Albums, flex mode starts up when the actual photos display.

Enjoy your Flip. Cheers.
