Struggling with false touches

Got my Note 8 Friday. Beautiful device. Anyway, maybe it's 100% me, but I struggle to hold it, without getting false touches or vibrations. I have large hands, so holding it should be easy, but I find it a little slippery. Coupled with for some reason I am always touching the screen in the wrong places while holding it. I realize a case might help, but I have always tried to rock my devices naked.

I have to have a case or I am constantly getting those false touches.

Try turning off the setting that your hand moving close to the display awakens your phone.

did you turn on/off the setting under Display for Block Accidental Touches?
