How do i fix this? I tried turning off and my phone, restarting it, and doing a battery pull as well. I also went into the settings and unchecked "enable battery saver."

What exactly is happening... if the phone drops under 100%.. is it still in power saver mode? Are you rooted? .. custom ROM? Has this only happened once or is it everytime?

First time. Not rooted. Im on the latest software update. I shpuld of worded the topic better, it is on battery saver at every %.

If none of the power saver settings are working when you try to change them and you cant shut it off, you may have to factory reset...

What happens when you disable battery saver mode? What if you toggle it back on afterward?

Nothing happens if i toggle it on or off. And i just let my phone die and i am ugged into the charger now and it is still doing it. Any other suggestions? Does a factory reset delete eveything? I have hundreds's of pictures. 1000+ songs, many videos, and hundreds of contacts. I really would prefer to not do a factory reset. I don't know if this helps but i think it has to do with fast boot. I have found this option very buggy.

Have you tried a restart or a battery pull? If you have fast boot enabled and have only tried shutting it off, then you haven't completely powered the phone off.

As for the factory reset, it doesn't delete the files on your SD card (pictures, music, movies). It will delete your contacts but if you have them backed up with google or back-up assistant they will be right back on your phone as soon as you set it up again. You will also lose any data from your apps. There are back-up programs you can run prior to do doing the reset, i've never messed with them though since I don't keep anything on my phone that isnt already easy to recover.

Im guessing most of this is on the SD card? Pull the SD card out and see if you still have access to them. If not, then its good news fro you cause a factory reset wont affect them. As for your contacts, they should be synced with gmail.

If this happens again. Then go to power saving setting and switch it to activate immediately instead of a certain percentage. You should see it say no enabled on screen, and then turn it back off. It should kick it out of power saving mode now. Worked for me!
