Stuck in Downloading screen

[Android Central Question]

I was trying to flash my Note 4 to fix lagging and restarting issues that returning to factory did not fix. I downloaded Odin, downloaded the appropriate file (N910PVPU5DQI5_N910PSPT5DQI5_XAS\N910PVPU5DQI5_N910PSPT5DQI5_N910PVPU5DQI5_HOME.tar.md5) and followed the directions. Odin says failed and my phone just says "Downloading... do not turn off target" with read print that says "Odin:: flash read failure"
How do I fix this?

Try pressing together power + volume down buttons until it reboots then release.
