I have been stuck on 3G for a week now and can't get back to 4G. I am running stock and unrooted. Does anyone know if it is a problem in the area or maybe its just the phone?

Try the following:

1. Ensure phone is set to LTE/CDMA - Menu, Settings, Wireless & networks, Mobile networks, Network Mode
2. Power down, pull battery and SIM for five minutes to force a reset and re-provision on the network
3. Check the battery door contacts in the upper right (these are for the LTE antenna). Try another door if you have one.

Cool, glad it's working again. :) Sometimes electronics just a need a good power off for a bit to let all internal components reset. Usually a couple minutes is all it takes to allow any residual power to dissipate, but five is for good measure, just to be sure. :D
