Hello, I was trying to return to stock using this link:

http://forum.androidcentral.com/ver...acks/64607-how-return-stock-froyo-update.html

Now my phone is "Soft bricked" and looks like the picture in post #7 in the link above.

Odin does not get past initialization step.

I have tried to re-download the .tar file, disabled anti-virus, and I am using a strong USB port. Also tried alt factory data reset, and boot into recovery.

Any help would really be appreciated. Thank you.

Thank you Littlwing16, that link says to re-download Odin, that's one thing I have not tried that yet. I'm at work for the night, but will try it in morning.

I'm all set, followed the exact instructions from the link Lttlwing16 gave me, turns out I was not extracting the file before trying to load with Odin. Guess it pays to slow down and actually read everything, haha. Thank you again.

Hey, glad you got it worked out!! Droid X Con is pretty much the man. His threads pretty much cover it all.

I feel your pain...this stuff is exciting.. but I can't count how many times, I just "moved forward" and overlooked something.. wishing I had taken just a couple minutes to re-read something!

Have fun! and enjoy!
