it is but it has been on that screen forever
its been on that screen for over 10 min how do i fix this?
Pull the battery and replace it. Hold both volumes and power til the bootloader screen, volume scroll to recovery, hit power. That will get you to recovery.
From there do a full wipe and flash again.

You're fine man. I had a similar issue a few months ago when I first rooted my gnex and someone saved my a$$. You can export all of your contacts in a csv format from the verizon wireless "my backup assistant" website and import them into your google account. Then they will sync automatically on any rom going forward.
That said, once you're all setup I highly suggest using titanium backup or my backup pro to backup you apps and data (never system data). Also, I use Nova (Apex does it too, perhaps others) mainly because it allows you to backup your homescreen(s) so that you never have to set them up again. Just restore your apps etc using TiBU/MBP and then restore from Nova/Apex. Boom. Done.
Here's the VZW MBA website. I remember it being a pain to find so I bookmarked it.
