Stupid Question of the Week?

Does the Nexus 5 come with a small plastic cover over it? I want to make sure it's supposed to come off before I start trying to peel it off.

No plastic on the back just a imei sticker from what I recall. But am I the only geek that left the lens plastic around the lens on? It has a hole for the camera aperture so I left it on...

There is a plastic film that should come off over the camera lens on the back and a plastic film over the front screen that I took both off. I left my imei sticker on since my N5 got a case.

doesn't that front plastic cover say nexus 5 on it... should be pretty noticeable

Thanks guys. I peeled the lens sticker off. Now I don't look down on the guy who left the front sticker on. Lol

I left the plastic on the lens too because the camera sticks out a bit...so on any hard surfaces, the camera lens is what will be on the surface for the most part. Although it looks stupid because of the white "peel-off" section, at least it won't be scratched. Am I just being paranoid?

That was my thinking too! Left it on since the pictures are fine with it on!

I used my camera for the first "real" pictures last night and forgot all about that sticker! I knew it was there. They came out pretty good anyway. I was waiting until I at least get some type of case that will keep the camera from being in contact if laying on a table.
