Stupid question

I updated to JB and factory reset. For the life of me I can't figure out how to stop the notifications during calls. How the hell do I do it? Sorry for the noob question.

Can you clarify? Do you mean that while you're on a call, you're getting notification alerts from other apps? You can always go to individual apps and turn off their notifications either in their own Settings menus or in the main Settings/Apps menu (if you tap on an app, there should be a check box for Notifications under the name of the app--uncheck it).

Getting email and text notifications during calls. I certainly don't want to have to turn those notifications. There used to be a setting that you could turn off in call notifications but I can't find it anywhere.
