Stylus input tab nit display

Okay I feel pretty dumb right now. I have been using the Logitech keyboard fow a while now and went to use my stylus, but although it knows my stylus is out,it is not pulling up the stylus pad for input. I cant find where to change that. My settings are set to popup the stylus pad in text inout fields. My logitech keyboard is turned iff. This s driving me nuts.

nevemind I found it. I was trying to use it like my note 3 instead of hovering to pull it up.
