Subscreen Crack...

My screen has a crack from just being in my pocket and sitting in a cramped seat on the train. I love the phone but am not getting anywhere with Samsung. They are willing to fix the phone for around 200. I also have a upgrade so I could use that but the phone with an upgrade is 200. Bestbuy will only recycle my phone as it is "broken". Does anyone have any ideas or solutions? I saw the parts online to fix myself but it looked a little risky (I work in electronics but still... wouldn't want to break anything and be out the 200+ that replacement digitizer and screen costs)

Sell it on eBay for parts. U might be able to get around $200 for it. Sold an old iPhone 4 for close to $300 with a cracked screen

Or buy a screen and repair yourself. It's not that difficult.
