Substitute for Adobe Flash Player Plug-in?

I want to play some Swf files on my phone using the app called SmartSWF but I try to play a file on it and it says I need to download the Adobe flash player. So I did some research and found that there is non for above 4.0.x but I tried anyway using adobe's website archives and downloaded and installed 11.1 but that just made SmartSWF crash.

So is there a substitute for Adobe flash player plug-in so I can play my swf files?
