Such thing as a case that is an exact color match?

My phone is never naked. I drop my phone at least once a week. I buy a new phone and I immediately put it into a Spigen.

I sure love that S22 Ultra in green but why order it if there isn't a case that absolutely matches and mimics the color and look when bare?

Such a thing exist on previous Samsung phones? I saw a leak for the Sammy clear digital case.. No! I don't want a wallet style.

Never seen an exact match case for a phone. Ever try a clear case or do you want super protection like from an otterbox or one of those heavy duty Spigen cases?

I've had my 4XL now for two years, it has always been in a clear case; either Spigen or ESR.

In fact, ESR is already showing a clear case for the S22 Ultra...

Granted after six months to a year, the edges turn yellow due to oil from your hands, but their prices (especially via online like Amazon) are low so not expensive to replace once a year.

In two years I have probably dropped my phone about a half dozen times and that has always been outside, usually in freezing cold, and the phone falls on frozen ground or into a pile of snow and never had any damage with either case.

Yes, I've had clear Spigen cases but they don't look nice long. Fingerprints and all. 😢

I drop my phones less than once a year so I don't use cases. But if you do choose to always have a case, then unless the case is transparent, why do you even care what color the phone itself is? Why not just choose whatever color case you prefer, since you rarely see the phone's own color?

That's the point of this post.

I'll just order it in black if there's no such exact color matching case either from Samsung or third party.

I always have a light colored phone under that case, unless I cover it with a temporary skin. Looking at my white 4XL cannot see any fingerprints (on the case anyway), but when I had a red skin...yea prints.

I haven't really seen phone cases that are exact matches for the colour of the device in question. My suggestion would be to get a strong, protective clear case. For every phone I've gotten, a clear case was always part of my accessories arsenal.

You'll never have an exact match case color. They are made by different manufacturers, with different materials, different dyes, different application processes and different finishes. Even if the color dye was perfect, the case material and finish will cause it to clash with the phone color. Color variances can even occur batch to batch.

I opted for a clear but matte Ringke case for my N20U and replaced it once yellowed, but it looks fantastic and lets my "mystic bronze" show. Cheap as well, generally you can get it with a new phone release and a code for even less. I plan on the same case for my S22U to show off whatever I get, it hasn't resulted in any breaks but I'm not super rough (I'm also not ultra careful, I drop it around the house plenty).
