suggestion EC03 vs EC07?

I have successfully one-click rooted my friend's Verizon Continuum. The only real goal, however, is getting Netflix to run. I read somewhere that it only works on Android 2.2 and also that it reliably worked on the EC03 (Android 2.2.1?) ROM but not the newer EC07 (Android 2.2.2).

Can anyone confirm or deny this?

Is there any other compelling reason to install the newer EC07, i.e., to risk Netflix not working properly?

IT seems to be hit or miss on ec07. I would flash that one, since about 90% of our rhemes/mods are for that building. If it doesn't work, you can easily flash ec03 later.
