I've tried Aldiko, FBReader, Moon+ reader but none of them enable two panel view like google book and google book doesn't support epubs. Any suggestions?

Thanks.

No it will not read Kindle books. The OP asked about the epub format and for those ebooks it's hard to beat the nook app. I have a color nook but I would rather use the app to read if I am not reading on the eink nook.

I am using the Kindle app and side loaded all my .mobi files. It works great, I like it better than the Nook app and the Aldiko would always force closes on me. I say go with the Kindle app and use Calibre to convert all your other files to .mobi

Sorry, I have to mention that I want to use it to read free epub books. Nook is good, but I don't think I can import my own book into it unless I am doing something wrong.

To use the Nook app with .epub files you will have to side load them by copying them directly to the Xoom via the USB connection. You can't just import them. It works the same way with the Kindle app and the .mobi files. The Nook (Barnes and Noble) and Kindle (Amazon) have there own proprietary formats when you download directly from them.

Both are capable programs IMO, I just have more .mobi files.

You could also try Calibre. calibre - E-book management

Whatever format and reader you choose, Calibre is a must for organization (at the very least).

I have used that program for years and it was extremely helpful when Barnes and Noble decided to stop supporting the pdb format. I was able to rip the DRM off of a couple hundred books in just a few minutes, they were all books I paid for and (to add insult to injury) they were purchased from a Barnes and Noble company! Now I can have all the books I had on my 1st edition nook on both my 2nd edition nook and my nook color.
