Can you see the Droid Bionic screen in the sunlight? I understand you cannot see a Tbolt screen and I am torn between the two.

Thanks.

The Bionic uses a pentile subpixel matrix on its screen. Generally speaking, these devices perform superior to a RGB-stripe subpixel matrix.

I believe the TB uses RGB-stripe.

My Droid 3 (arguably with a similar pentile screen) is very usable in sunlight.

I?ve never used a TB in sunlight so I can?t comment on the differences.

I will post video of TB v Bionic in sunlight
Just tried it. It is so bright outside, I couldn't see anything through the camera. The Bionic is better in sunlight, noticeably so. It's not sooooo much better that it's freakin' unbelievable, but it is noticeably better. Both were on full brightness. Sorry.

The photon 4G looks great outside. I suspect the bionic has the same screen, so it'll be great as well.
