super amoled questions

I recently had issues with the GNex and ghosting/screen burn-in. I had it replaced with a new one, and it came with 2 dead, black pixels.

I am also concerned with screen banding as well.

Since the Razr Maxx uses Super Amoled, but not the HD type, will I see any of this?

I had the GNex and noticed the same problems you described with the ghosting/burn in. Every once in a while I notice very slight ghosting, but no where near what the GNex had. I have to really be looking for it. I always noticed it with the GNex. As far as the banding is concerned, I really don't see it.

IMO the display is better with the Razr. I tested the same wallpapers I use on my Nexus on the Razr and they very nice.

thanks for your input guys. i just fedex'd my 2 nexus phones back and i will be upgrading to the maxx in the next few days.

the only thing that kinda sucks is the non HD screen on the maxx, but i just want it to work

Also worry not if it burns in I had a Droid Charge replaced for that exact reason. VZ does offer an extended warranty for a price of course:-$
