Where does it say that? I havent tried the new dj05 rom but I messed around with the previous roms a bunch... You should be able to kick off the rom install from rom manager and it will reboot into CWM to actually perform the wiping/unpacking. You can also install the ROM from CWM without using rom manager at all if it is giving you trouble. Rom manager is really just a tool to download zips and kick off tasks for CWM to do anyway... it's not actually doing any of the work.
Can you get into Clockwork at all? Try the manual method. Turn phone off. Press volume up/down at same time while pressing power button. Phone should boot into Clockwork if you installed through Odin. If you just get to Recovery, see if the option to apply update.zip is present. If so, apply that. That is Clockwork.
If you can get into Clockwork, you can apply Roms that way. We will figure out Rom Manager later. Let's see if Odin installed Clockwork.
ughhh this is making me mad. i did the manual way like you said and it does show apply update. zip.
but it said failed to open(no such file in directory)
I got that myself with the voodoo nightmare. I did a SAMSUNG factory reset and cache wipe. Then I reinstalled cwm through odin. That worked for me.

Awesome! What was the problem?
So, now you should be able to flash clockworkmod within rom manager. After that, download the Superclean ROM from there and rom manager will prompt you to reboot into clockwork. You can either backup and wipe or not. Up to you. Let us know how it goes.

Where can I find the dj05 modem to flash via Odin ?? Having problems with receiving text messages running the super clean dj05 .8 and the stable stupid fast kernal

yeah. what he said. it feels great to feel like your finally getting some where after hours of pulling out your hair calling yourself stupid.
i personally did not reset and wipe after the samsung reset wipe, and i had to flash dj05 a second time. i got that force close loop. i went to the thread that talked about how to get out of that and it was really involved. i didnt have anything on my phone i couldnt put back so i just did a reset and wipe in CWM them flashed dj05 again and all was good.

no problem. let us know how it turns out. if you are feeling squerily, try it without the second wipe in CWM. see if you get the FC loop i got. but only if you feel up to it. dont increase your headache just to satisfy my couriosity.

sorry about the second post of the same responce. theres alot of different questions going on and i didnt want it to get confusing.
where did you get the option to select your phone? i flashed the stock version of dj05 through first. then super clean a couple of days later through rom manager. i just selected super clean 0.9 and hit download, and rom manager did the rest. i didnt have to select a phone. i dont supposed it matters too much. i am just courious.

Great. Probably good to do that initial back up. Sounds like you are on your way. Cool deal. Once you are back up and running with your newly installed Rom, let us know. If you decide to flash kernels, you definitely don't need to bother with wipes and back-ups with those. Just make sure you keep up on what Rom's you have installed (e.g. dj05 kernels with dj05 roms, etc).
