Super Excited!

Hey everyone, I'm new here, and I'm super excited to announce that I have convinced AT&T to let me upgrade a year early from my LG Thrill to the HTC One X. I'll get my new phone on Wednesday.
I just wanted to say that this forum helped me choose my One X...I had thought about getting an S3 but I remember my love for my old Inspire....and my brother is a Samsung fan. So I can't justify getting an s3. I'm looking forward to my experience with the One X, and Android Central.

I switched to AT&T from Sprint and the HTC One X was the obvious choice. Really like this phone and the network. Once this gets JB update it'll be perfect for me.

That's great to hear! and you can convince att to do such things, sometimes. my wife upgraded to her first smartphone, which was a sony ericsson x10 in september of 2009. that phone was so terrible, i was able to get att to let us do an early upgrade in march of 2010 and got her an htc inspire.

I had it a couple months ago and I'm back. GS3 has a lot of bells and whistles but i love the screen and the body of this phone. It's perfect. Sense can be a little annoying at times but I love it.

Well I was having troubles with ghost calls and my battery life with the Thrill. They wanted to warranty the phone out for another one. I explained to them that I was unhappy with my phone all together and really wanted something different. They said they couldn't do it, It took a couple of days of talking to them and they gave in. I resigned my contract. Ive also been a customer since 2007 and never missed a payment. I was very nice and persistent.

Same!!! I know 2 people with s3 and the body of the phone feels cheesy just saying... Love how solid my white HOX feels and love the gorgeous screen.
