If you've ever watched Vic DiBitetto (and you should) for his 'Ticked of Vic's' says "Now Follow Me on this one "

So now follow me on this one:
This has happened with all phones I've tested. If I lay my phone on the frame of the tablet, it's not touching the screen, with the phones cameras facing the tablet, it repeatedly wakes up the tablet.

Is it the Qi/Wireless coil, an ambient light sensor bouncing off the screen?

Anyone know what this trivial and pointless questions cause is? I figured I'd post it anyway as a talking point.

It's almost certainly some magnetic component of the phone (and/or the phone case) interacting with the smartcover sensor in the bezel of the tablet. Is the phone in a case?

Phone is in a standard case, no magsafe adapter or anything.

It's also happens when laying directly on the screen or any portion of the tablet overlapping the screen touching or not.

Is the tablet set so that it wakes with a tap? If so, maybe there's some residual capacitative charge on the phone screen that's triggering the tablet's screen?

It is tap 2 wake, and that's a theory I didn't consider however it's only the phone that wakes it up. No other metal object. I'll have to try something magnetic to test further.
