Hoping the community can help me troubleshoot this issue I'm having... on a new S10+ (SM-G975W) running OneUI 2.0 Android v10. I cannot seem to figure out why apps like DAZN, Sleeper, Pluto, Microsoft News, etc. all run extremely slow (if at all) using my home network wifi. I can literally open an app and it won't even load while I'm on my own wifi, however once I turn my wifi off and use data it loads instantly. Every time. When I'm on away wifi networks (work office, friends places, etc) it works perfectly. Other devices on my home wifi network work perfectly using wifi. Other apps on my phone seem to work without any issue while on wifi (insta, youtube, brave/chrome, google news, etc)... so the wifi certainly does work on this phone; I can do speed tests on fast.com and using the speedtest app and get great results.

I've tried:

- toggling between 2.4ghz and 5ghz networks
- resetting network settings on phone
- resetting network settings on my router (EA 7500 V2)
- hard resetting phone
- hard resetting wifi router
- forgetting/restarting rejoining wifi network
- hard resetting my router
- toggling various power mode options from high performance to optimized to medium
- changing DNS settings on phone (1.1.1.1, 8.8.8.8, 8.8.4.4)

None of these have worked. I can't seem to figure this out. DAZN and PlutoTV apps simply do not load at all over wifi. Other devices using the same 5ghz wifi network (my wife's iPhone8 sitting right beside me) work like a charm. WTF.

Does anyone have any ideas for what I can try to do to resolve this - it's driving me mad.

A shot in the dark here..
Uninstall those apps ..
Reboot.. do a device care ..
Install back one app only and test see if it works..
Then move on to next app ..!!

Btw .. i tried the dazn app with wifi fine
No problem at all ..

Welcome to Android Central! Sometimes it can help to disable IPv6 in your router settings, so give that a try.

Thanks for the offer of help! I'll try disabling IPv6 in router settings before going app by app down my phone. Will report back my results.

THANK YOU 100x. This worked. I've been trying to fix this for weeks. I cannot thank you enough. Happy holidays!
