I know that for the Nexus S and Nexus 4g (and possibly the Nexus One before that), if you were rooted, you wanted to wait for a rooted version of the latest update to get the latest software version. However, if I root my Galaxy Nexus with superboot, can I just install OTAs/regular updates without losing root (since the boot image is the root access)? I'm probably wrong, just correct me if I am
Thanks.

From what Ive herd, unlocking the bootloader and rooting your phone only, will not stop you from getting OTA updates. Look more into it though. I unlocked the bootloader and rooted it from XDAs instructions and I remember it said you will still get OTA updates. I do know all the other Android phones Ive rooted, I was able to get OTA updates. So you should be good as long as you dont install something like "Root Explorer" and then start deleting sytem applications.
