What issues are you having? There are two ways to root now:

1) downgrade to Froyo and use Unrevoked (This will give you S-off as well)

2) Use the HTC bootloader unlock and then flash Clockwork. Once you have Clockwork you can make a backup and then flash a rooted ROM. (No S-off though)

The issue is the time, lol, screaming 2 yr old and working night shift makes it hard. I was using the downgrade/unrevoked method but I had the wrong version so I failed. Going to try it here shortly

Not that I am anyone important, but I am currently on an iPhone 4, and the DInc is my back up. I was having signal problems at work and switched to the iPhone to see if it helped. It does do a little better, but then I got used to it and due to a few apps not available to Android, I am still using the apple thing. I did jailbreak it though lol.

I switch back to the Incredible every so often just to shake things up a bit. LOL. It is rooted and running CM7 and I really like it.

I am ready to dump both for a 4G phone though. 3G speeds here in Georgetown KY suck. Speedtest app shows I can barely hit 0.75mbps download around here on 3G while 4G is doing around 32mbps download!!!! On a bad day a guy at work with a Pantech get from 6.0 to 10mbps. Just none of the 4g phones move me. I was all about the GNexus until a guy a work got one and could not even get a signal in the building where the Pantech and a Rezound got 4 bars!!!!

That's one thing holding me back - Sammy does not have a great rep for strong radios and there is a ton of spotty coverage areas around here.
