Why...

got that really nice working for me phone
found there's stuff on there I really don't need (dumb games, quad sli is games, not a 4x3 screen)
found someone did not want me to delete what I don't like and what takes up the space I paid for (yes, I bought the phone, not 'got it for "free" ' with a 2 year 4 way shackle)

root - I do linux

cool... I do java too...

now it's a linux system to me: renamed iqmsd to noiqmsdnot and kill android.iqd by hand once I start the phone
this way, should I ever need their support, I can reboot and they can see
'support' happens on my terms ( I call them for help )
'nosy' happens on their terms: did not see any hippa grade compliance pledge re my data they collect and store...

I did send the rootkit guy a 50 and I got a 'thank you, you made my weekendl email back, which makes me think 'am I the only one ....'

came here originally to see how to 'remove' the iq disgrace of the 'free world' (it has never been allowed on the other end of the ocean in the 'not so free' world!)

found also some not so nice things:
- people posting 'there are switches on samsung phones to switch it off but they are only accessible via advanced....' but never show them!
- people being greedy - after paying you need to pay if you want to make it work: come on!!!!!!

for all linux ppl:

rename ( I did only rename the iqmsd so far, left the libs, checking what it does in the logs tomorrow)
kill android.iqd by hand or make yourself a button, no need to pay anyone anything

all the others: go buy windows phones!
