Ever since updating my s4 with kitkat the performance has been horrible, unable to enter password after lock, battery drain, and overall performance lag. I've tried everthing to no avail... this weekend I removed my sview cover and to my amazement everything was resolved!
Samsung needs to officially publish this issue as I'm sure there's a lot of s4 users with sview covers really upset their phone performs like crap and they, their mobile provider, nor samsung can figure it out.
