Ok, so I believe you are talking about a swap partition similar to how most linux/unix environments will use for some temporary files.

Generally speaking even in the computer world swap partitions are considered to be a bit double edged, because anything having to be swapped out on a large basis is really cause the device in question doesn't have the necessary resources to handle things. Having to swap files in and out of a swap partition tends to make things run slower simply cause you are waiting on the drives read/write times.

Having said all that the idea of swapping at least part of the phones cache onto the sd card is an intriguing idea. I don't believe it would necessarily require a secondary partition though, it could be handled similarly to a windows system where the cache is kept in a folder (essentially the same way the android system keeps it's cache as I understand it).

As for partitioning the SD card one primary reason that I can think of is the ability to format a single partition at a time. Meaning if you have all your apps on one partition and all your other files on a separate one it makes it easier to erase/find/copy any or all of that information do to a more defined file structure.

Well said but I mean giving it more ram as I think that's what it does. But thank for ur thoughts

You won't be able to add RAM necessarily but you can free up some of your internal phone memory with a couple different methods. Look at the post by magicman08 a couple posts down. It's a good option for the scarce internal memory we have.;)

Thanks I notice every time I enter in terminal (free) it shoes nothing in swap.....
