Swapping SD Cards

Guys, I rooted my phone recently and I'm quickly finding that I don't have enough space on my SD Card since I'm backing up these ROM's. I purchased a 16GB card and just want to know is it as simple as dragging and dropping all the files from one card to another? I just want to make sure I'm not missing anything in that process. Thanks in advance.
