Swift key not working

I downloaded swift key but cant seem to get it to work. I go into settings>language and keyboard>select swift key. When I go into any app that requires a keyboard, the stock keyboard shows up. The same thing happens when I try to use GO keyboard. Btw, I am using Go launcher, could this be the problem?

To get it working, go into the messaging app and then go to the text field as if you were composing a text, long press the text area until you see "Input Method". Select that, then it will show you the list of keyboards. Select Swiftkey, and you should be good.
