Just saw this...

SwiftKey keyboard half-price for one day only | Android Central

Half price for one day only. I just wanted to post incase anyone wanted to take advantage of this deal. I've had SwiftKey for years and LOVE it. Can't beat the syncing to my Google account either so the keyboard knows me on my new phones as well :P.

Did they finally fix the issue where after a restart you had to reset it as your default keyboard or does it stick?

Not on my tablet version on my Note 8 as of today. But don't have the issue with the phone version on the Note 3

It stays. I got my Note 3, set it, and haven't had to since. It always uses SwiftKey.

When I first set it up it required I select the devault keyboard at every boot. Then after a few days it held my choice. Then after a week or so it reverted to defaulting to the Samsung keyboard every boot. Go figure.

That's what I'm experiencing on my s3.

Didnt do that with the demo though

This doesn't happen for me on my Note 3. I simply set it and forget it. I reboot daily as well.

On my phone with ICS I see this every day, and not only with Swiftkey, but also with Swype. I seem to remember that Swiftkey devs once clarified that it's not their app, but is the result of the Android version changes.

I love SwiftKey. I really wanted to give this version of stock a shot. I have switched to it not once, but twice to give it a fair shot,, both times for a whole day. I just kept making mistake after mistake and it was driving me crazy. When someone watches me text with SwiftKey they are amazed at how fast I can type.. Plus I Love the LG keys and the neon theme.

THE BEAST,,NOTE 3. SIZE IS EVERYTHING!!!

Swiftkey is great. Got it free a while back and use it all the time. Have tried others but always switched back

I have a question: I have been using Swype for a long time because it has a feature that I really like. When I hit the back space because the word was misspell it erases the entire word and other keyboard is letter by letter. Does SwiftKey has that feature of erasing the entire word at once ??

I finally bought it after getting my free $25 Google play store card from hTc.

I love it, can't believe I waited this long to try it.

Y'all should give the new SwiftKey Beta a try, if y'all haven't look into it. They are doing this compact keyboard (good for one hand) and split thumb keyboard on the beta. There are still some issues, but so far it's doing pretty well, go to their website and try it out.
