Has anyone else tried this, and if so what are your impressions? I have used it for a little and for whatever reason I can't hit the space bar. I know that it is not necessary in that keyboard but it is part of my typing rhythm and throws everything off. Was just wondering if I was missing something because my stock Rezound keyboard works fine. Also are there settings for faster typing?

Been using it for about a week now and kinda like it. The prediction seems to be better than stock and the Go Keyboard I have been using but what really stands out is its ability to predict my sentences. Very interesting. The space bar works fine on mine.

Only thing I hate is some words don't save... like ass always turns into associated but other than that its a great keyboard.

I've been using it a lot on my phone and it does quite well. I was using Swiftkey X prior, so it was an easy transition.

On my tablet, the beta is better than Tablet X. They started listening to users asking for the keys to be closer to the edges, but the inner keys are still too far in for my fingers to easily reach with a 10" device. They haven't added a split key layout for portrait mode, so the keys are still hard to use that way. After trying it for a while, I went back to Thumb Keyboard.

just a heads up, it's out of beta and officially SwiftKey 3. I've been using the beta for a couple months and have to say that the official release is definitely refined

I tried to update it in the market, and the update costs $1.99? When I go to the Amazon market, where I installed it, I don't have the option to update.

I got Swiftkey X as the free app of the day from Amazon a long time ago. Today Amazon pushed the update to Swiftkey 3 to me with no problem.

It's not an update at the play store that cost $1.99; that's the full purchase. (It's currently on sale.) You can't upgrade an app in the Play store that you didn't get from there because that purchase isn't connected to your play store account. You should be able to go to where ever you purchased the full version of Swiftkey X (you said Amazon right?) and get the update no problem.

Edit: You might not have seen it because it wasn't available on Amazon yet. The Play Store often gets updates before the Amazon App Store. I don't know if that's the case in this instance. But it's definitely available on Amazon now, so go check again.

I have to just let you know so I can make this correction known and also point out how actually ridiculous this is: but I have swiftkey paid through play store. the beta i installed no problem of course, but regardless of how you try to get the version through play store you are not eligible to upgrade for a previous purchase. I personally see this as an obvious upgrade, however somehow they changed the name and maybe they are getting away with the ability to recharge. Anyhow, it's not allowing me at this time over the introduction to upgrade.

My copy of Swiftkey X seems to have automatically upgraded itself to Swiftkey 3. Not that I mind so much, it's still leaps and bounds better than the stock HTC keyboard IMHO. I was using the Beta and it was pretty laggy on my DInc, but the current release version seems to be as quick as X.
