Good day... Just wondering if anyone else has come across this problem. Sometimes SwiftKey will double type a word. I reason one of them, and it does it again. This glitch doesn't always happen. It's only occasional. Anyone here experience this?

I get this a lot using swift key. Never did it previously. I'm thinking some where along the way an update brought this. I usually use the speech to text feature as a work around. If I type a paragraph of a few sentences I could easily have 4 or 5 double words. Really annoying as I then have to go back to correct.. Speech to text is not always accurate either so that's not always a good solution. I think I'll try the google KB for awhile.

The only glitch that I've seen lately is sometime it'll predict "the the" and I can't remove the prediction.

I find that it happens when I put a punctuation mark after the word, whether it's a comma, period etc. It will double the word....weird

Yes, same here.
I'm back to google kb and so far no issues.

I tried the google keyboard, but still prefer SwiftKey.... Dilemma! I hope they fix this in an update.

The major issue that I've encountered with Swiftkey is the hanging when I'm texting someone (using google messenger). There will be a point where I'm typing fast then it would hang almost like the phone is low on memory. I never had this issue before but after several updates that's when i started to notice it even more. Pretty tempted to try something new at this rate. However, I'm waiting for the Marshmallow upgrade then i'll do a factory install and go from there. I'm hoping it has something to do with Lollipop.

I get the hanging and also the double words. I'm happy back on the google KB and will likely just remain there till there is a swift key update to address these issues.

I honestly don't know how anyone uses SwiftKey. The slow and laggy key press animations drive me nuts and that seems to apply on any phone, high end or low end

hahaha I just tried Flesky and i'm loving everything about it minus the copy and paste part so no more swiftkey for me.

Never had problems with Swift Key before which is why this is perplexing, but probably came from an update. Anyway there are loads of choices besides SK.
